Type 201 Stainless Steel TCM Dispensing Table | 48-Compartment Herbal Cabinet 1400mm — Fully Assembled

The choice of material for your herbal cabinet directly affects daily workflow and long-term maintenance costs. Sheet metal cabinets rust. Wooden cabinets warp and carry formaldehyde risks. Stainless steel is the practical choice for clinics and pharmacies looking for a one-time investment.

This is a Type 201 stainless steel TCM dispensing table with 16 drawers and 48 compartments, 1400mm wide — sized to fit most clinic and pharmacy counters.

Material: Why Type 201 Stainless Steel

Every herbal cabinet faces three challenges over time: moisture, rust, and odor absorption.

Type 201 stainless steel has lower corrosion resistance than 304, but for normal indoor use — including humid climates and coastal regions — it performs reliably. Unlike painted sheet metal cabinets, stainless steel won’t rust when the coating gets scratched. Unlike wooden cabinets, it won’t absorb moisture, swell, or release formaldehyde.

The smooth, non-porous surface won’t trap herbal powder or odors. A damp cloth wipe is all it takes to keep it clean.

If your project specifically requires 304 stainless steel, we can supply it. But for the majority of clinic applications, Type 201 offers the best balance of performance and cost.

Delivery: Fully Assembled, Ready to Use

This dispensing table ships fully assembled. It’s welded, finished, and packed in a wooden crate at the factory. When it arrives, you unbox it and roll it into position — no tools, no assembly.

KD (knock-down) cabinets require on-site assembly. The fit depends on whoever puts it together, and misaligned drawers or loose screws are common complaints. Fully assembled shipping costs slightly more, but it eliminates installation issues entirely. After years of export shipments, the feedback we hear most is “I don’t want to build it myself.”

Quick Comparison

Sheet metal cabinets cost less upfront. But the paint layer chips with regular use. Once moisture gets in, rust spreads from the damaged spots, and drawer slides start sticking within a year.

Wooden cabinets look traditional and fit certain clinic aesthetics. But wood expands and contracts with humidity changes. Drawer alignment degrades over time. New cabinets also carry paint fumes and potential formaldehyde — a real concern for medicine storage.

Stainless steel cabinets cost more initially, but they don’t rust, warp, absorb odors, or off-gas. Under normal clinic conditions, they outlast both alternatives by years.

FAQs

Q: What’s your MOQ? One unit. Bulk pricing available for larger orders.

Q: Do you ship overseas? Yes. Export packaging includes moisture-proof wrap, corner protectors, and segmented packing. We regularly ship to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and East Africa.

Q: Can I put my clinic logo on it? Yes. OEM orders support silk-screen logos, custom packaging, and custom manuals. Drawer labels can also be customized.

Q: Are casters included? Casters are optional. Without casters the height is 830mm; with casters it’s 900mm. If you need to move the cabinet around the clinic, add casters. If it stays in one spot, skip them — it’s more stable and costs less.

Q: Type 201 vs 304 — which should I pick? Both are stainless steel. 304 has better corrosion resistance for extreme environments and costs 30-50% more. For normal indoor clinic use, Type 201 is sufficient. We’ll recommend based on your actual environment and budget.
